War and chaos are engulfing the lands of Westeros. The great Houses are vying for control of the Iron Throne using the old tools of intrigue and war. Yet while the war for Westeros rages, grave dangers gather in the cold North, and an ancient enemy is gaining momentum in the distant East.
In A Game of Thrones the board game, players take control of one of the great Houses of Westeros. Via resource management, diplomacy, and cunning, they seek to win dominance over the land. Players must give orders to armies, control important characters, gather resources for the coming winter, and survive the onslaught of their enemies. A unique phase mechanic, battle resolution, and special ordering system make for an engaging game in which all players are actively involved at all times.

My friends and I love to play A Game of Thrones! Sometimes however real life gets in the way of finishing a game that we have spent several hours playing. I created this Excel file so that if we had to cut a game short we would be able to write out where our pieces were, which house cards have been used, etc. This allows us to come back and finish a game two or three days later instead of having to start over.
A bit of advise though; write out your strategy. After two weeks of down time you may forget the grand design behind your plan.
Few changes after new playtests. This map is very good! Objective: 7 cities/strongholds (or 6 for shortest games). Length: 2h-2h30. There isn`t neutral army. Used with permission. 2003, 2008 George R.R. Martin 2003, 2008 Fantasy Flight Publishing, Inc. All rights reserved.
Fast games. Objective: 6 cities/strongholds (or 7 for long games). Length: 2h-2h30. There isn`t neutral army. Non-official. Playtested. I only play the game in this way now. I need feedback.
This file contains all entries of the latest offical FAQ by FFG (dated Nov 8th 2007), which is 94 entries.
It contains additional entries (144 in total) consisting of questions players asked here on the board, things new players often miss for their first games and questions that have been answered through the official form on FFG page by the game designers.
Each entry has an index to refer to, a classification on topic (such as house cards, orders, units, events...), an entry to which game/expansion it refers to (AGOT/ACOK/ASOS or ALL of them) and it has a column to tell where the entry comes from (O for official FAQ, A for Answered by FFGs official form, P for Player addition).
Since you can use all these to filter the entries you will easily find what you are looking for alot...
